This blog is written by Michael Cichowski. It contains random thoughts around technology, the internet, startups and anything else I can think of.
What do I do? The short version is that I’m a VC. I work at Edison Ventures, a growth-stage fund that invests in technology companies. Currently, I spend most of my time focusing on FinTech investments across Wall Street / Capital Markets, payments, real estate and banking. Prior to VC, I worked in a variety of operating roles within technology and strategy consulting. I’ve managed software products and teams at a large financial services firm on the buyside, launched a so-called “web 2.0″ product for a photo/video sharing startup and racked up the frequent flyer miles as a strategy consultant. I’m passionate about bringing new products to market and helping entrepreneurs change the world.
Personal interests include blogging (obviously), golfing, traveling, watching sports (go Mets!) and sushi.
Lastly, a quick disclaimer. All thoughts on this blog are my personal opinion and responsibility. They are in no way affiliated with my current or former employers.
