I’m kind of tired of the Blogger platform and would like to try out another. The two that come to mind are WordPress, the ever so popular customizable techie toy, or TypePad. I’m leaning towards WordPress b/c I’ve used it before, and being the technophile that I am, it would probably support my “hacking” it a bit better.
Here’s the problem though. I don’t want to start a brand new blog. I need to be able to import all of my posts, and YES with any photos that I’ve uploaded. TypePad says they support importing from Blogger here, but at the very bottom they mention you won’t get photos uploaded to Blogger and have to re-upload them. That’s ridiculous. WordPress apparently supports this, but we’ll see.
