
So, I have had Netflix for some time now (both in NJ and in Boston) and have a few different experiences to share with you. I’ve had the same plan both times – 1 DVD at a time with unlimited rentals per month. Up until the last month or so I haven’t had any issues with Netflix and loved the service. The last month has been a different story. In Boston, on average we received a new movie every 3 days. The last six months while back here in NJ we received a new movie every 1-2 days. As soon as we’d mail a movie essentially we’d have a another one. Then it all started going wrong. We sent back a movie and Netflix claimed they never received it. We filed a complaint and then they “magically” said they received it. Then all of a sudden the movies started coming late. I mean real late. Our last two new rentals took over 7 days and we still HAVEN’T received them. Again we filed complaints and the very next day, Netflix said they HAVE received the movies and asked us to rate the return. So, I’ve decided I’m done with Netflix and am going to try out Blockbuster. They have the same plan plus there are 2 local stores in my area that I can pickup movies if I desire.
