I forget where I came across this, but Ask.com has new local search functionality. I’m not a huge user of these services, but they do have value especially when I’m on the train looking for local pizza places. If you are a Blackberry user such as myself, Ask City is perfect solution. In fact, I’d like to point out that the folks over at Ask.com did a wonderful job with the technical design for mobile users. The site performs well, is not crowded with uncessary images (simple text), returns highly relevant results and enables users to automatically call based on clicks. Definitely check it out.
